Is anybody going to have different color bm's dresses? I'm having trouble picking a color (I like green, yellow, pink and blue--yikes), and I feel like any of those colors can work for a June wedding. I once saw a wedding on the knot where there were different color dresses and it looked great. I fear though that it may look a little wacky. Does anyone have advice/pics? Thank you!

I was in a rainbow wedding and it looked great, I'll try and find the pic and post it. We each had a different pastel color...pink, yellow, purple, green.
I thought about it also. However, I think it depends on the colors....I saw it online somewhere and didn't like how it looked at all! Maybe b/c I didn't like the color scheme??
Now those colors work beautifully!!

would they wear the same style? i'm doing same color but different styles... kind of along the same lines!
i love the idea of letting the girls personalities come through, and there's no need to be matchy matchy. my one concern was that they wouldn't stand out as my BM's... i want them to be recognized, but i think it will still work

I like the idea of either having them wear same dress/different color or same color different dress. Do you have pics of your girls' dresses?

We did it-I had 4 girls including the MOH. She wore a diff dress but the three other girls wore the same each ina diff color; red, hot pink and orange. They each picked the weddign color that went best with their coloring.
Our wedding colors were hot pink, orange and red.
I think it looked great because they are all in the same color family.
What you want to do if they all wear diff colros is make sure its the same dress/and or the same fabric.That way it looks cohesive.
My MOH was too short for the halter so she chose another Bari jay dress int eh same fabric and brigth pink shade but the style was strapless and tied into mine with the ivory piping.
In the pics they all look same color but they're not. Its justa deep pink and a lighter red.

I say, it is your wedding and you should do what you want! When the girls go to to get measured for the dresses, have them all try it on in different colors and see how you like it!
