Is anyone having a different meal than their guests?
I was at a wedding last year and the bride and groom had special meals. I was wondering if anybody is doing this. We are planning on requesting it when we go for our next meeting but I am not sure if anyone has tried to and got shot down. Guess it wouldnt hurt to ask.
My sister and her hubby had extras in theres but not completely different, they were at Villa Lombardis. They could have had whatever they wanted, most places offer this to bride and groom from what I hear.

Re: Different dinner????
FH wants this, I don't like the idea. Our hall agreed to do it if we so desire...

Re: Different dinner????
I really wanted the raw bar because I love crab legs, but it wasn't worth the money, especially with the ridiculous amount of food they're already giving. But my BM told us that if we wanted them they would have them in the bridal suite for us. They also told us that if wanted to drink Cristal all night they would arrange that too.

Re: Different dinner????
I wanted to see if we could get like a sampler platter of all the different dishes served to our guests. They have a choice of 7 dishes and actually 6 out of the 7 sound really good (not a Duck fan. I Assume if I ask they will do it.

Re: Different dinner????
my friend had the chicken fingers they offer for the kids, b/c it is his favorite food & doesn't like the fancy stuff. We'll probabaly both just get the steak on the menu.
