Different Directions - Question

Okay i have a question. ANyone have a friend or friends they notice can't handle you being married (or engaged) and either have slowly backed off being friends with you or act jealous towards you?

I have noticed it with one friend. Just makes me sad and i was wondering if this happens to other people.

I always thought the friends you made in grammer school/high school/college were friends for life but i realize now that a lot of them kind of disappear if they are not at the same stage or timing in your life and it sucks...huh? And i am not talking about the people needing to go out all the time, but just the ones who kind of don't call anymore.

I had that happen with an old friend who was married at the time (but not happily) when I started dating my DH. She became VERY jealous and we had a huge falling out & havent spoken in 2 years. She didn't even come to my wedding and I was her MOH.
