Different Ideas..

Hi Ladies:

I am down to the details and am looking for ideas to make our wedding memorable.

Anyone got any ideas?

We are writing personal notes to each person/couple and putting them in envelopes on each table. Not as a replacement to the thank you but more of a 'my favorite memory that you and i shared was...' or 'I remember toasting marshmallows in your backyard when I was five..'

FH and I are both saps...this was his idea actually.

How about a picture of each of your parents at their wedding...?
I have heard of people giving their guests a slice of their wedding cake to take home, which I think is real sweet.

Hmmm..... I love thinking of different and unique things.

Our first dance is going to be fast, not slow. Now thats different!

monogrammed garter, wishing bowl, embroidered table numbers, embroidered bo-k ribbon, pics of you guys, parents family in the cocktail waiting room, almost like a collage, or separte pics with decorated frames, write on the bottom of your shoes, programs, monogram the inside of your dress, etc.....

We got pictures of most of our guests (close friends and family, not the distant family) and had confoti (picture confetti) made. We had it spread out on the placecard table, and people really enjoyed looking for their picture when they got their placecard.

We're also doing a faster song and i have a feeling my FH is planning on singing a tune with the band - his alltime favorite - Crazy lil Thing Called Love. We're also having pics from our parents and grandparents weddings, candy apple placecards, and a guitar as a signing board. I guess those are the most 'different' things.
