Difficult time with BM dresses

So...I have 7 bridesmaids of all shapes and sizes. THey will be wearing black dresses. I just cant seem to find a dress that is flattering on all of them. What is/are everyones feelings on letting each bridesmaid pick out a dress that they are comfortable in? I am just afraid that if they do that, and it is black, what will make them stand out at the wedding from all the other guests?

I don't think there is anything wrong with this. If you want them to be 'different' from other guests get them each a flower to wear in the hair.

I'm doing black BM dresses, we are also doing seperates. I picked out a skirt for everyone to wear and they all picked their shirts. I allowed my two sisters to pick tops with sequins and the others are plain.

There is a pic in my album. (They have different skirts on b/c the store didn't have 5 of them, they are also wearing green not black because that was the sample color)

Also....to set them apart from people who are wearing black I chose a silk flower (that matches their bo-k's) for them to wear in their hair however they want.
