I am going wedding dress shopping for the first time this Friday. Do the stores let you bring a digital camera with you so you can take pics of yourself in the dress? I think that after I go to a few bridal salons, I will forget what the dresses that I liked even look like.
Most stores don't let you take pics until after you buy the dress. If you're with someone, you can possibly try to sneak a picture if the bridal attendant leaves the room for a minute. If you want to take pictures, I'm pretty sure that davids and the commack wedding center let you.
I took pics during most of my dress shopping. My sis lives out of the country. I know that most places did'nt like me doing this (some faces were made at me) but they didn't say anything to me.
Dont ask, just do it - maybe they won't say anything. I know they didnt say anything at Bridal Suite in patchogue, but at Bridal Suite in Centereach they said no.
most places won't let you until you buy a dress - they don't want you taking a pic and finding someone to make the dress cheaper. if you want to do it - just do it, definitely don't ask. even if you're caught, i doubt they would kick you out or anything.
Most places don't, there afraid that you'll have a dress maker copy the dress I think. They let me take a picture (since I ended up buying it) because my mom is disabled and could not come to the store with me (my dad came and took the pictures).
I did it and no one said anything...although they weren't happy when I tried it for the headpieces! What are they going to do - kick you out? You're in there to spend thousands of dollars!!!
