Okay... I take the pictures and transfer them to my computer but the files are saved so big... and when I send them in an email or try to post here they have to be resized and then they are too small to see. How do I transfer the pictures from the camera and make the file size smaller. I have a Nikon and have Nikon view program on my computer. Thanks!

Can you copy the 'original' and save it as another picture with a lower resolution?
You don''t want to do this to the only copy on your computer because your prints will be grainy.

I have the same problem all the time. Thats why I upload everything to shutterfly. Then I can post at a normal picture size. Have no idea why but it works!

The images we see in shutterfly displays are a much lower resolution then what we send them. I uploaded pics that were taken with a professional grade digi camera and tried to save it to my hard drive to print but you could almost see the pixels.
