Figured out what Fh wants and needs... a new digital camera- he mentioned something about a canon power shot and a sony cyber shot, but I know nothing about mega pixels and what is good or not good- I want a good camera but dont want to spend too too too much $$$$$, can anyone help me out here? thanks !

You can find out a lot of info & compare cameras, etc. on www.bizrate.com or mysimon.com
Generally anything above a 4 megapixel will give you a very clear picture
I have a Nikon coolpix 4300 & I LOVE it.

We just got a new digital camera for the HM and love it! We did a lot of research and eventually purchased the Cannon Powershot A620. It's 7.1 megapixels and takes AMAZING pictures. If you look in my community album at my hm pics, you'll get an idea of the quality of the pictures.

This site is a good resource when buying a digital camera.
We just got an Olympus Stylus 600. It's 6.0 megapixels, and all-weather, but the best part is the 2.5' LCD screen - it's huge!

Megapixels have nothing to do with the clarity. The more megapixels in the camera, the larger you can blow up the picture before you start to see distortion. I would first settle on an acceptable price for yourself and do your research on some of the sites mentioned above or cnet.com, etc. Sony makes a great camera BTW.

ive got the canon powershot sd500 7 megapixels and they sell it at target i used it to take my honeymoon pics which came ou6t pretty sharp the camera costs around $275-300

I have the sony cybershot...its a great camera its I think 5.0 Mega Pixels hey make up to 7 pixels now.
