I am not a big camera person, but looking to purchase a digital camera for an upcoming trip. What MP is the least that you recommend to have good pictures? Thanks!

I have a Cannon Powershot 4.0megapixl. It takes great pictures and I have a great printer so that helps too!

I have the Sony PowerShot A80 which is 4 MP and SO user friendly!! and to get them downloaded is super easy too!!

I bought a Canon 3 pixel camera a couple of years ago when that was the highest. The pictures come out great. I haven't printed anything larger than 4'x6' pictures so I don't know whether the clarity would decrease noticeably with a larger picture.

I have a Kodak easy share 3.1 mega pixel camera. It takes great pictures, the color is great and really clear, and the camera's really easy to use!

Canon Elf! I love it. Well, ok, it's actually FH's but what's his is mine now right? Anyway, it's wonderful. If you want, here's links to some pics I took with it just this weekend so you can get an idea of the quality. And it's small so you can fit it in your bag with no problem.
