Andrea- those pics are absolutely breathtataking! Thanks for sharing!
I actually dug up an old consumer reports. Your Olympus is rated one of the best.
I fell in love with the Kodak Easyshare DX7630. It's rated as a 'CR best buy' with 6.1 megapixel. But I have yet to talk to anyone who owns one.

I am getting the Kodak DX6430 - 3.2 MP and 4 optical zoom. A lady here at work as one and her photos came out great!

Re: Digital Cameras
I have a sony cybershot too and I love it.
One of the coolest features on it--that you can't find on most other cameras within the same price range--is that you can shoot in BW, sepia, negative, polarized, etc...
I posted pics from my recent trip to Spain...but I had to resize them and they're a bit pixelated, it's hard to tell what they really look like.

Re: Digital Cameras
def get a CANON! they're extremely user friendly and i must say it's the first camera brand i've used often. mine's the Power Shot S60 5.0 mega pixels. after getting my camera they immediately came out with a new one with a 7.1 mega pixel. oh pooh =( but 5.0 is perfectly fine for me.. for now

I have the Cannon powershot digital elph! I LOVE IT!!!! I will be honest I bought my mom the Olympus in June And neither one of us now how to use it. Then cannon you take it out of the box push the button and it worked! We also got the Cannon photo printer and it prints pictures better then when you take them somewhere to get developed! People are amazed when I show them pictures and tell them that my printer at home printed them!

Re: Digital Cameras
We have the Cannon Powershot A80. My DH and I got my sister one for Christmas. My dad researched all the cameras and decided that we buy her the Cannon Powershot A85 (it is the same as mine just a newer version) because it is very user friendly.
Now my mom just bought my stepdad a Nikon Coolpix 5400. It is 5.1 megapixals and right now Nikon is offering a $200 rebate. The camera is really $499ish and then the $200 rebate my mom will only really pay $299 which is an awesome price! I have not seen pics from it yet but someone DH knows is a 'computer/camera geek' and he recommended this camera to him.
