Digital & Film Photographers...do digitals print out well?

Hi gals,
I am all about having a digital photojournalist. Do you know any that shoot with some film as well for print purposes? I feel that film prints better than digital. Those of you that had digital photogs, how did your 8x10's print out?

i have an 11 by 11 sitting in my room shot digitally... i cant tell the difference how it was shot (with the exception that i was put in a church 2000 miles away)

Patken may offer digital service but they dont relay on it. they like traditional... and when they make their ditigal albums...they scan in the proofs to computer. some resolution is lost in that process but not to an avg person.

12th Night and Gary Leli had beautiful digital shots of all sizes. The only thing I hear is that it fades quicker (whatever that means). I'm going for a mix of both, one photographer with film and one with digital.

If you are looking for all digital Gary Leli was my favorite! His shots, personality and albums were beautiful.
