Digital Picture taking

Any tips on how to take a good quality picture of a product to place on the internet? What kind of lighting is best? TIA!!

i have found that cutting off the lights in a room and just using the flash on the camera works well. when you cut off the flash, you lengthen the shutter time (slow shutter speed really) and this creates blurry pics.

PIC #1-NO LIGHT, CAMERA'S FLASH

PIC #2-NO FLASH, JUST LIGHT.

PIC #3-FLASH AND LIGHT

I hope this helps. As you can see, if the room has any natural light (window) all you need is a flash sometimes and no lamps/overhead light.
