how much are you looking to spend? i'm assuming you want a full HD one or is that not so important?
I think HD would be nice... would like to spend 200-400

i've only ever heard great things about the Flip (lisagail55 linked to it above) and it's on sale at amazon for $150 for a fullHD one that can hold 2 hours worth of video
if you're budget conscious, i'd go with that

That's a great idea!!! Might have to steal that!!
We're nto having a videographer so that might be a cute way to add to our own 'home video'.
FI got me a Sony HD camcorder for my birthday, forgot the model, will check when I get home but it's only been out since april.
Mine was a bit more than 400 but it has a ton of memory so you could probably get one with less memory in that range.
I LOVE Sony products!!! All our electronics are so everything is compatible. Hehe.
