Okay I live in Massapequa Park and of course the closest bridal shop is Bridal Reflections and I wasnt planning on using them because of the very iffy reviews on here and god knows LIW is my wedding bible however the BM dress I want is only sold in a few stores and Im not thrilled with any but BR sells this designers entire line so I know I'll find it there but now Im procrastinating by making an appt. because I just hate dealing with annoying people. Do you know if it's possible if the girls try it on at BR if they can order it through another store that doenst carry it? Could they go to like Beautiful Bride and have them order it? Im a procrastinator to start with and now this has made me worse

yes...afetr you decide...call burtons in huntington...they can order pretty much anything they do not carry and at a cheaper price

id say go to BR and try them on you dont HAVE to order from them. What dresses are they maybe i can help you find a store that carrys them :)

They are by jim jhelm. I went on the site and found the stores that carry his line but there are only a few that carry the whole line and BR is one of them.

don't be nervous, I went to BR last night and everyone was really nice. I mean EVERYONE, we went to all 3 of the stores, BM, bridal gowns and Mother of the bride dresses. They were nothing but nice, I promise.

anyway.. I would just GO there and try it on, to make sure you like it. They wont know and as much as i dont like BR i think you wont have much of a problem just trying on the dresses you are interested it

for bridal gowns or bm dresses? If your going for bridal gowns ask for Christina, or Christine, I can't remember, but she was so sweet. For the BM dresses, we just walked in, no one really helped us. We picked out what we liked and they started a fitting room for us.

I had the same dilema., since Kleinfield left Brooklyn the only store was Lestan's by my mom's house., and I needed something close to my mom b/c she is not in best health to troop to the city and it was very important for her to be there with me, so I went to Lestans.
So far so good.! Y ou will hear good and bad from everyone- try to go and see how it goes.

Well I think I'll just have to call and make an appt. and see what happens. I have two BM that live in Fla. too so I need to order their gowns for them as well as my daughters. I just dont want added stress of difficult sales people ya know. Thanks for all the advice ladies I'll let you know how it goes.

That's exactly what I'm going to do! Already tried it on and called Phyllis and her price was $50 cheaper!
my BM dresses were $77 cheaper from her and my dress was on avearage about 150-200 cheaper from her!
