dilema.. another long one.. SORRY!!!

So my friend is getting married on 10/10/10. she kinda waited till the last minute to do MOST of her wedding related purchases. Just last week she finally booked limos... now the problem is i just found out who the company is and it has not gotten good reviews AT ALL from multiple sources...

this girl is one of my BEST FRIENDS.. and even though she waited a while to book everything she is quite the perfectionist and i am afraid it is not going to be perfect on the day of her wedding... her and her mom booked with out even seeing the cars they were taking.... she saw pics but not the actual cars themselves....

Do i say something to her and/or her mom about the poor reviews? Do i go the day of to make sure the cars are in the right condition to come pick us up? should i keep this knowledge to myself and just pray everything is perfect that day?!

I am sooo torn i just dont know what to do.. can anyone give any advise on what to do... PLEASE HELP....

TIA!!!

Since she's like, your BEST friend, If you have time, I would make some calls for her to see if anyone else has the date available, and then warn her. Let her know she has alternatives though. If you warn her and she feels like she has no choices she might flip out.

Or, you could talk to her mom and have her mom make some calls and then talk to her.

If it's one of the two limo companies I'm thinking of, I'd rather call 777-7777 and have car service take me than take my chances with those companies.

And stop apologizing for the long posts! a) they're not even long nad b) even if they were, if that's what they need to be for you to ask a question, then that's what it is! We'll still read it!

I agree with Jamie. I would definitely just tell her what you know, because even if she does get a little pissy at first, she will thank you in the long run. I think you would feel more horrible if things turned out awful for her and you knew the whole time that it was probably going to, ya know?

You can just fill her in and let her know about all of the great limo companies that you do know of should she decide to re-think her decision. I'm sure she will be very thankful- especially because you are planning a wedding yourself and have read horror stories!

Good luck! Let us know what happens!

ITA you should do this ^^^ great advice!!! if i was in your shoes i would have blurted it out and most likely caused panic not even realizing that that could be the outcome

I would call around and see who is available first.. then hit her with a 'good news,'bad news' which do you want first !

There's probably a reason that company still had the date open...

I would recommend u to share that info asap cause if I was in her shoes I'd like to know in advance so I can prevent anything from ruining my special day! Def tell her. She still have like 2 months and a half to book with another company, plus limos is an easier to book vendor compared to the venue, dress, etc.
