so Fhs dads wedding is may 3rd. I had my outift all planned. they said casual comfy. So i bought the 1st black dress. strapless. very cute. cotton. figured id wear heels for the ceremony and dinner and then after would throw on some cute flip flops for walking the strip.
soo last night was her batcherlorette party and i saw pix of the bridesmaids dresses they finally got last week. theyre gorgeous yellow satin gowns.
now i feel like my dress isnt dressy enough. so im debating going to the store today to buy the 2nd black halter dress.
would you bother spending the money on the 2nd dress? im a lil strapped for cash b/c we're leaving in less then 2 weeks. but dont want to feel under dressed b/c i found out last night i'm going in the limo with them there. but am not a bm or anything.
help please.

I think your dress is beautiful, and if you feel under dressed just dress it up with accessories. I think you are fine!

I also agree that accesories make the outfit!!
ONly playing devils advocate here... but if you are the type of person who will feel uncomfy and think of it all night then get the other dress, bc it is a little dressier BUT if you dont think about those things then do your dress... either way you will look gorgeous!!! and youll be in vegas so whose luckier than you?!?!

I totally agree with everyone else here! The dress is really nice and you wont be under dressed at all!!!!! I also think the dress you have is better then the 2nd one and it would not be worth it to waste money on another dress!!!
On a side note I think that is sooo sweet that he chose your FH to be the best man!!!

I like the second dress too though . . . both dresses are very nice.

You can never go wrong with black. Just dress it up with some nice heels jewelry and a super hot clutch bag and you will be fine. You don't want to look you are tyring to upstage the bridal party. Leave the fancy dressing to them.

That is a great dress- the strapless one. Black is safe- can dress it up no matter what material it is. Just put on the right accessories and shoes and you are good to go!
