DILEMMA

so our gm for a wedding gift.. aside from $ he owns a huge home depot sized shop of granite and marble.. so on his business card he wrote ' 1 free table' lol soo cute

ive been looking for a dining room table.. granite top, bllack base.. and cant find it..

now, do i take him up on the offer and have him build one? or do i continue searching? i want a complete MATCHING set ( table, curio cabinet)

fh is dead set on having one made for us.. and i want to buy one.

what should we do

get it made! he offered so why not? its gonna look awesome, fh wants this also, get it made abd get exactly what you want and prob much better quality you can find

He did offer the table and he obviously knew you are looking for one- so I would take him up on it. The only thing is since he is making the table would he be able to make the matching pieces that you want also?

I'd find out how much he'll charge you for the whole set. Chances are it'll be cheaper than purchasing and it'll be custom made then. I'd say have it made!

agreed! get all pieces made. even if the other pieces are more expensive than in the store, you are still saving on the table. since he is a friend, you can probably pay over time (if you dont have all the money upfront).

no no.. curio set cant be made of granite... we arent the Versaces.. we live in a co-op lmaoo

i justw anted the base to match the curio... but black is black??

Oh then you should have no problem purchasing something to match, especially since black is so basic. He couldn't still make you a matching piece, just not using granite?
