OMG I can't believe that I'm so sorry. Can you start looking elsewhere? Or any chance you can get your old job back?

Re: Dilemma....
Eh, I don't really want my old job back. I have an interview lined up for Tuesday (an old contact I had in the HR world) but nothing is guaranteed. I'm just nervous that if I leave thinking 'Oh I've never been out of work before, I'll find something, I always find a job quickly when I start looking' that I'm going to screw myself and end up being out of work for the rest of my life (

OMG!!!! This is totally outrageous to me~I'm so sorry this is happening to you. People are soooo disgusting sometimes. With that said, I don't suggest leaving your job until you have something else lined up. I know it's horrible, but so close to the wedding and all~you would be even more stressed out of work. I wish you good luck with the interview~hope you get it, so you can get away from those racist a-holes!!!!

ITA but i'm 100% risk averse. i would aggressively start the job search while keeping your current job. GL on the interview!

Re: Dilemma....
what the heII is up with people?!?!? so i take it that they are not hiring this person? do you have any other candidates for the job? because it sounds like a pretty hefty lawsuit to me. i would do what you're already doing and start the job search again!!

Thats pretty disgusting but I would stick it out until you can find another job, bc it's no fun being unemployed when you have a wedding to pay for!

That's outrageous. I wouldn't quit though until you have another job lined up. Is there anyone you can speak to regarding this incident?
