FH and I are concerned with providing transportation for our OOT guests. We were planning to get a limo to our RH for the bridal party only. On the way home, we were planning to use the hotel shuttle to get ourselves, any bridal party members staying at the hotel, and any OOT guests, back to the hotel.
However, when I started calling local hotels today, none of them will travel the 9 miles to the RH. So now, are we responsible to provide limo service for everyone to get back to the hotel? Or are there any other options you guys may know of or may be using? Please help!! I'm stressing big time about this!!

Maybe busses? Check with the RH and ask if they know of any services

Does your RH have any hotels that it recommends? They shouldn't have a problem traveling to them then. Be careful with the free shuttles, because some of them are only 10 seaters and may have to make a bunch of trips depending on how many people you have.
I think it is a really good idea to provide a shuttle, but its not required.

There really are no hotels that are super close to the RH. The closest ones are 9 miles and the hotels don't typically travel anymore than 5, even for a wedding. We're considering doing a big limo to get everyone back to the hotel at the end of the night, but then I just don't know how to get the OOT'ers to the RH earlier in the day...

I would still call and ask your RH what hotels they typically use.
ETA: I just noticed you're booked with tpcc. The young guy, I think Rob? I'm sure he will be able to help! They were in our top 2 RHs and we found him to have answers for everything!
I would NOT pay for limo service for everyone. It would probably be crazy expensive. If the OOT guests are flying in, wouldn't most of them be renting a car anyway to get to the wedding (and hotel) from the airport? If I was an OOT guest at a wedding, that's what I'd do rather than relying on the couple to provide transportation.

Thanks Jill, I will definitely look into that!!
Our OOT guests are actually mostly from PA so they will be driving in. I just don't want them to have to drive themselves home and have to worry about not drinking. They're coming all the way here, I feel like they should get to enjoy themselves.

My boss had a school bus for the guests from the hotel to RH. I think I have the information for the company that they used if you would be interested in that info. I believe it was under a thousand dollars

You def are not responsible for that! It would be gr8 if a hotel would provide a shuttle but if they wont oh well. That is NOT your obligation (I have never attended a wedding where transportation was provided for me other than a shuttle)!!!!
ETA - ditto to what the other girls said; maybe ask your RH what they recommend? Or ask some '10 girls what they did? I know the hotel we blocked will provide a shuttle but only if we guarantee 15 rooms or so; maybe a hotel near your RH will do the same? good luck!
