Dining room furniture question

What's the difference between a buffet and a sideboard?

We haven't purchased either piece yet, and are ready to get one or the other, and I don't know which to choose.

I think a sideboard has more storage under neath...and the buffet , if it has drawers, the drawers are much smaller....

look at the deminsions as well...I think a buffet is narrower...
