Fortunoff has great dining room sets. Some are not that expensive, either!

Re: Dining Room Sets?
We just got back from Seaman's and All wood furniture on rt.110. I think so far All Wood Furniture is in the 'lead'. Beautiful pieces there and you dont pay interest until next year. We may wait and see if we can hit a Presidents Day sale somewhere.

We found our Canadel set in Fortunoff's and it was almost $8000 (table, 8 chairs, china cabinet, etc.). We ordered it from a furniture broker in North Carolina and saved almost $2500. Definitely worth doing it that way!

I like pottery barn's furniture. I've never gone to the PB outlet but it might be worth checking out.

Re: Dining Room Sets?
I got mine from Seamans and it was about $2500. The wood is solid (its not oak but its a solid type, i forget which exactly. It's very sturdy and I get a lot of compliments on it. Here's a pic ( i don't know if you can see the detail all that well)
We don't have it yet, but I found the set I want in Pier 1. And actually, if you watch Desperate Housewives, it's the set that Lynette has in her kitchen.
