Dinner

When I went food shopping last week I bought panko flakes. I know a lot of restaurants use them instead of breadcrumbs when frying chicken cutlets... well, let me tell you... it was so delicious!!! the chicken was so crispy.

panko flakes and vegetable oil. don't fry in olive oil. they were perfectly browned, it was awesome.

i heard olive oil is actually better for you...is that true and did you say veggie oil because it tastes better that way? just curious i am going to have to try these panko flakes you talk about lolol

when you FRY in olive oil it makes things soggy. i fried my chicken cutlets in it ONCE and they were not crispy at all... veggie oil frys things better. that paired with the panko flakes was heaven.

lol

Are these in the regular grocery store or specialty one?

I got them in King Kullen... they were on a random stand over by the grated and parmesan cheese. they were in a black box that said, 'Panko Flakes' then under it , it said something about sushi chefs... lol
