can someone recommend a nice place they like to eat in the city that is open on mondays? we were thinking little italy but any suggestions would be helpful. even better if anyone knows of any discounts or coupons i could use. thanks girls !

I go to this little wine bar all the time (in Gramercy area). And they have a coupon on their web site! The food is delish (they have dim sum and full entrees) and the owners and staff are really nice.
Your party gets their own room and the food is very good if you like Japanese and sushi. You also get a little magic show at your table.

The Zen Palette! They used to have a location on LI but now they are just in the city. It's vegeterian, which I'm not, but the food is amazing!
I love Zen Palette!!! I was soo upset when they closed the Long Island location!

I love Suenos in Chelsea. It's upscale Mexican (more like entrees, not tacos!) and in a really romantic setting. Another fun choice is Sala or Sala 19, -- Spanish tapas places with awesome food and great atmosphere.

Little Italy is great--a bit crazy right now with San Genaro but very fun! Anywhere else you'd want to be in city?

I think a very affordable place and great place to go with a group is carmines on the upper east side....i crave their pasta!
