The Cooperidge Inn is very good, it's on Sound Avenue off of exit 71. I highly recommend it

What about The Lobster Roll? I think it is only open on weekends in the winter, but is open in winter. It is in Aquebogue.

There is the Tuscan House- a very nice Italian restaurant in Riverhead (it might be a little expensive, though). There are also new restaurants by a few of the golf courses- Stonewalls is one- it's by the new Cherry Creek Golf Course.

We always wanted to go to Porto Bellos. It is just before Mattituck. It looks like a nice place.
