Just wondering what everyone wore to dinner in Hawaii... I know its mostly casual and I have a bunch of sundresses but do you think it would be okay to wear capris and a shirt some of the time?

Capris would be find sometimes. Some nights I got dressed up, some nights wore a sundress and some nights wore capris with a nice top.

On my first honeymoon we did Hawaii (Maui, Oahu and Kauai) and Capris would be fine. We went to a few nice places for dinner, but mostly sundresses were worn. It is typically vacation casual. Have an awesome time!!!!!

Either a sundress or nice capris with sweater & sandals would be fine.

A lot of palces are totally casual. I never got very dressed up - didn't even bring a dress (well - I don't own many if any casual dresses and not the type to buy clothes just for a vacation). I mostly wore skirts and tanks (some dressier than others but nothing too fancy) and or capris and tanks. There were restaurants where I could have worn shorts...but that is when we hit a low-key type place or a local place.
Dh wore shorts as much as possible and other times khakis (maybe 3 times) and a short sleeves button down ot three button shirt.
