dinner with ffil tonight

FH is off surfing in RI for the weekend & i'm home alone. i was planning on sitting on my deck with a glass of wine, bbq & clean the house tonight.

ffil calls. i tell him FH is away. he says 'oh, well would you like to join us for dinner then?' feeling the pressure, i accept.

ffil is a nice guy & all, but i don't feel perfectly comfortable having dinner with him & his wife when FH IS there, much less by myself! this will be awkward...

trying to be a good person & nice fdil. i think i'll have a glass of wine before i leave...

what a night. i hope you ladies have more fun than i will!!
