Dinner with FIL's.....

Yesterday with fh, his parents came with us to a judica place for us to order the yaumulkes for the wedding. while we where there, they bought us a seder plate, towel with a pot holder, a matzo box and a passover cookbook. then we went out eat.. then changing names came up and i said how i can't wait to change my name. fh dad says, you're a member of the family now. i thought that was so sweet. fh mother doesn't consider me a daughter in law, she considers me her daughter fh has special parents. i hope it will be like this once we're married

AWWWWWWWW!! Thats soo sweet! I love my FIL's as well and I think it makes everything soo much better. Soo many people I know can't stand their in-laws and Im just glad that I have great ones too!

my FIL's are so like that - but i can't stand them! for no good reason! I just find them HIGHLY annoying and SO different than me and my family...they say, 'we love you can't wait to call you our daughter' and i'm thinking @#(@#( i need to change my attitude - FH is great with my parents - i just don't need another set of parents - i have my own!

it's nice when everyone gets along. when i do speak w/ my FMIL i call her 'ma' and thats what fh calls mine!
