Dipping white gold rings

How long does this take? I also have to get my wedding band sized. Ive been procrastinating because I dont want to be without my ering.

I had it done i dont remember for sure but i know it was under a week .

I got my ering resized at Bunty's in Commack and they did a really good job and did it while I waited! Also, they do the dipping thing (I called and asked last week and they said they can do it while you wait and I think it's like $45). Just call before you go to make sure they have the jeweler there that does it.

Takes a week at Jareds and I think they told me it cost in the $25 range.

Zales told me it costs around $35 to dip the white gold. Don't know how long though.

There are a few actually. You can take a yellow gold ring and dip it in white gold to make it white gold instead of yellow.

You can also do this for an older ring... to spruce it up and make it look like new again!

Also....white gold rings start to fade within about 3-6 months of purchase (especially on the part of your ring that rests on the bottom side of your finger) and the 'gold' color starts to come through...when this happens you get it dipped and it's like new again!

There are a lot places that will dip your ring while you wait...takes about 20 minutes.

I had heard of that before, dipping a yellow gold ring to make it white gold. I thought maybe you meant something else, and that I needed to get it done...thanks!
