Has anyone ever heard or is anyone a member of Direct Buy? My friend who is a member is taking me there next week to go check out wedding invitations. When she was married 2 years ago, so had them do her invitations (very fancy, pockfolds etc.) for under $200. I'm going to try it out

I think the membership may be expensive. They joined when they bought thier home. But if you know someone who is a member they just have to be present with you, because you have to show a card to get it. I will def, let you guys know how it goes. Her invites we marked down %80 she told me and was able to get digital caligraphy with hers.

Re: Direct Buy
Someone I know works there.. I want to say its like a few thousand to join. It pays if you are re-doing a room or something like that. BUT I was todl the catch is.. if you make an appt to meet with tme and go in there and decline the membership, you can't join for x number of years (3 years maybe?)
Maybe they have changed this... or maybe they have cheaper packages to join now? I was told this about 2 years ago i think.
ETA - they do have really nice things REALLY cheap though! It is worht it if you will use it a lot!

I'm pretty sure she paid $3k. They have been undergoing HUGE renovations for the past 3 years now. LOL

then its totally worth it!! You can save so much $$$ there! when we moved into our house we were going to do it, but we had no $$ at all (duh - just bought the house) and luckily we didn't have to do any renovations. it was move in condition. BUT - I am sure it will come in handy when we re-do the rooms (after the wedding is paid for!)
