I couldn't get any out of jfk, I'm going out of Newark directly to Honolulu in february with Continental, for a decent price.

I know there's one out of Newark but, I don't think there are any out of JFK or LGA.

I had to fly out of Newark for a direct flight, but that was back in 2004.

United Airlines flies from JFK to Oahu (I flew there in Sept), however the airline ***** and I wouldn't recommend flying with them. I think there are several others that fly there too.

Edit: I didn't see the 'Direct' part-we had a connecting flight.

I just got back from my honeymoon on Saturday

My husband looked for a direct flight and there weren't any from JFK, so we had to go thru Newark.

We took a Continental flight direct from Newark to Oahu.

For the return flight, we were on Maui so we took a connected flight (the interisland flight from Maui to Oahu was Continental but operated by Hawaiian, and Continental Oahu to Newark). We checked our baggage at Maui (OGG) and it was routed to Newark.
