Has anyone heard of this? Or seen the infomercial? It's a club where you join and then you can buy things directly from the manufacturer rather than going to a retail store....example, funiture or applicances, carpet, tile, etc. Please let me know your thoughts or experiences. Thanks much.
We belong to UCC Total Home (direct buy) we joined 6 months before we were married and we love it! We were able to get our $1700 frdige for $900, our washer and dryer for $700. We've bought other things like tv's and stuff, it really is worth it. The initial price may take you for a loop but soooo worth it. They sell everything, including kitchen cabinets. We also bought our 7.5 foot pre lit xmas tree and pre lit 36 inch wreath this december for $100. You really should look into it.

i always saw this and wondered how it worked! wish i knew about this a few months ago!
I heard the membership is like 3,000 or 4,000 dollars. I don't think its worth it unless I'm planning on buying alot from them. Besides my DH and FIL tend to go into brooklyn and queens for great deals on home improvement and furniture.
My DH's partner went to check it out and felt there was no deal. They want $5000 upfront to join, then there's a certain amount to pay each yr for membership. They had a catalog of their items, but wouldn't let him leave with it (he snuck it out anyway.)
