Here's my issue--I want to include directions, but from where to where do I include with the invitations? For instance, do I provide directions to the church and then to the reception hall? What about from the hotels to the church to the reception hall? I have the directional cards from the reception hall--but would you guys just combine all the directions and put it all on one sheet (otherwise, there could be up to 4 more enclosures--2 hotels, directions to the church and a separate one for the reception). Can you tell I'm going crazy over this? Thanks for any feedback you may provide!

Re: Direction card question
Would a map be at all possible? Im in the process of making direction cards and I have two lisitings. The church has directions from the LIE and SS. Then I have seperate directions for the catering hall from the LIE and SS. I just gave directions starting from the highways. With the map people should be able to figure it out where they are coming from either way.
ETP - I combined it all in one sheet and put stars next to key locations

Re: Direction card question
Here's what I would do -- I would include with the invitations directions from the church to the reception. For the people staying in the hotel, I'd just print on nice computer paper directions from the hotel to the church and maybe from the church to the reception in case they left the invite at home. If you're doing OOT bags, you can just stick it in there. If not, maybe you can just have the hotel hand the guest the paper when they check in. This way you can keep the invite enclosure simple.

Re: Direction card question
My cousin was married in Texas last year. Her family is from NY and his family is from South Dakota. She had three 'directional' enclosures - (1) the provided directions to the church, (2) the provided directions to the reception venue and (3) a card with all other directions needed for the OOT guests - from hotel to rehearsal dinner and from hotel to her house. She also included a map of the area since almost all the guests were OOT. Yes there were a lot of enclosures but they were all needed and the forethought was well appreciated.

Re: Direction card question
Thanks ladies--I this feedback. I think I'm going to have to try finding a good map for the area. My problem is that most of the OOTers (and there are a lot) have NEVER been to LI, much less driven here. So I think that in addition to the map, I'll have to have some sort of written directions...but Jenn, I think the directions in the OOT bags is a great idea! Muchas Gracias!
