Re: direction cards..
YES! i didnt have one in a wedding invite over the summer and the invite didnt have the exact location (just the name and city) so i had to look it up online, write down the address and then put it in my gps. the direction card gives all the info you need and you take it with you. no need to make them to match the invite IMO but get them from your venue and include them

Re: direction cards..
I did a map just cause I thought they were cute. It has the places address and a graphic but not the step by step directions (theres a pic in my album)

Re: direction cards..
I totally agree with you on the GPS point, but we sent them anyways just in case. Some people may not GPS, some may not even have a computer to get the directions (like older relatives). I'm sure majority of your guests are going to wind up printing their own directions but it's nice to include them just in case they forget their own directions at home (at least they have yours).

I think you can leave them out! break the tradition! Just make sure you have the addresses needed...

Re: direction cards..
I am so glad ppl agree with me that you can just stick in the direction cards the place gives u and not waste money on making them match with the invites that will get tossed in the garbage lol... I mean Im sure it looks nice to match but who really stares at your invites and analyzes that????? no one but a psychoooooooooo hahahaha

Re: direction cards..
I like the direction cards because most times that's the only place to see full address to then put in your gps

Re: direction cards..
I wasn't spending the money to have the direction cards match the invites. I'm just taking the ones from the church and reception hall, and putting them in the envelope.

Re: direction cards..
We're only putting the directions in for the old people who we know won't check our web site. For everyone else we're inserting a card that says for directions, accommodations and more information please visit: (our web site)

Re: direction cards..
our hall gave us direction cards that we are sticking in there, but I know a lot of people don't have GPS so I would probably put them in there regardless.

Re: direction cards..
We didn't include any - the invite has the address for ceremony/reception (at RH) and majority of our guests have GPS/computer to look them up from. Plus, I totally forgot

Re: direction cards..
Yes, you should put them in. We took a cab to our friend's wedding not near trains and the cab driver needed directions. It's nice to not have to print your own.

We included some because our invites didn't have the full address of the RH, but I printed them myself on plain ivory cardstock.
