UM is there a site that allows you to put in a general location as a destination? I'm confused..I'm trying to get my invites done ASAP and its going to take me a while to get the cards from the church and the RH.
I'm just not sure what the right way is to do it. How did you girls do it? Did you put..'from Long Island' and from 'Manhattan'?

im getting married at the rh, and i just took the directions off their site however, make SURE you proof-read, because they had a TON of errors on their site
from the church to the rh you could just put the exact directions, right?

this was soooooo difficult for me to figure out. i had to do the ones to my church. i ended up doing it like from lie (eastbound) and then would just say take the lie to exit....
i started off with the expressways closest to the location so for example from parts of brooklyn it would be take bqe to lie...it got WAY to confusing like that cuz there were so many ways to get to the lie so i just did lie or northern state . does that make sense

I'd make it from an address you know and then leave out the specifics. Like whenever I type into mapquest looking for directions say from my house to Jericho Terrace it tells me turn left at the corner and everything about how to get to the LIE. I'd just take the directions from the LIE on and copy them onto the direction card.

I did them from all points of LI...from east, from west and I also did LIE and Northern State....My church and reception hall happen to be on the North Shore...but it may be different for others.
