Directions please! (Nassau)

I am SUCH a suffolk county girl - i know NOTHING about Nassau roads at allllll.

FH and I are headed to Queens College tomorrow to check out the buildings (he starts his masters there in Sept.). That's easy enough to get to - exit 24 L.I.E.

My question is HOW do I get from Queens College to the Roosevelt Field Mall? We're going to stop off there on our way home.

If it's right off the LIE, I can't find the exit #!

PLEASE HELP!!!!

I'm from Nassau and don't know the exit number either! (But I never took the parkway to the mall anyway).
I know there's an exit off the Meadowbrook that says 'Shopping Mall'.

eta - there's also an Old Country Road exit off of the Meadowbrook and Roosevelt Field is on Old Country Road. I believe you would take a left on Old Country (if you were going north on the Meadowbrook) and then the mall entrance is on your left.

It's actually not off the LIE, it's off the Meadowbrook Parkway. I live in Queens and I usually take the Northern State to the Meadowbrrok and then it's a couple of exits off that. I think you can take the LIE East until you find an exit that switches you over to the Northern State (sorry I am not sure which one but there are signs) and then take that to the Meadowbrook.

ok, so exit 34 off the LIE is Northern State. If I take that to the Meadowbrook, I'm ok, right?

I've NEVER been on the Meadowbrook Pkwy I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING!

Yes, the Northern State would take you to the Meadowbrook
Take the Meadowbrook South to the Old Country Road exit (which I found out is exit M1).
Then I guess you would do the opposite of what I said before, which would be to turn right on Old Country Road and then the mall will be on your left.


I had to add that Suffolk is WAY more confusing than Nassau!!! I worked in Suffolk for like 5 years and used to get lost all the time

really?!?! I've lived in Suffolk all my life, and I guess I'm just really used to it. I'm REALLY unfamiliar w/ Nassau roads.

I had to drive to Elmont to visit my FH at work one day, and that was the FIRST time I'd driven in Nassau! (well, not counting the LIE and parkways)

You can also go to the next exit (M2) which says 'Shopping Mall' and it will let you off right into the mall.
Oh, and if you take the previous exit, make sure you take M1 WEST.

Thank you!!!! I just got an Ipod shuffle from my bro We're playing right now witht he software

just wanted to say thanks again - we got there w/ no problems.

BUT we ended up taking the LIE to the Cross Island (there was an accident on the LIE), to the GCP, then the Meadowbrook. There were accidents all over today!
