So i went to Barron's at Tri-county the other day and was really disappointed with what they had. I am trying to get around buying a headband from Manhasset bridal salon that I am in love with but is pricier than pricey so I went there on all your ladies advice... I was very sad when I left..My mom and I also went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and David's Bridal and nothing. I had gone to Thomas Knuell and their prices were like Manhasset Bridal Salon but nothing that compared. Do you ladies have any other places to check out??

I got my dress at the bridal salon of manhasset and they told me to check out M&J trimming in the garment district in the city - they had gorgeous things at very reasonable prices. I wanted a belt that had rhinestones on it to add to my dress and it was 1/4 of the price at this place - check it out, its on 6th avenue between 37th and 38th :)

They had plenty of headbands and hairpieces too - I got a small hair clip - but they had everything from tiaras, to headbands to giant hairpieces. I have a feeling that the salon might use them as their supplier because the quality was so similar and they had recommended them to me :) good luck! the belt at the salon was 700 and i got the pieces to make the same thing for 130 - they said they would put it together for me at the wedding salon, i bought the ribbon and the glitzy piece separately

See if there is something online that you can you find and love....sometimes, online is the best kept secret!

Try Priscilla of Boston in Manhassett they are going out of business and everything is 50% off or more! GL!

I felt the same way about Barrons. RK Bridal in the city had a decent selection of headbands and clips. I didn't look at veils there though.

So glad to hear I am not the only one that felt that way.. I bought my veil just was waiting on the headband because it was so expensive and wanted to make sure I couldn't find anything I loved cheaper..I will def check there. Thanks!
