disappointed!!

I just got my directional cards from my reception hall. I thought they would be a lot nicer. The are on a thin piece of paper!! My hotel cards are nicer!! They are on shiny card stock!! You would think with all the money you shell out to the reception hall, they can spend a little on the directional cards!!! Sorry for the vent!

Don't let it get to you....Seems like they all cheap out on direction cards since they go in the garbage anyway...

Your guests won't even notice.

I just got mine too Tuesday night - I thought the same thing I also wish they had more pics of cakes. I have to drive almost an hour to make a seperate trip to the bakery.

I got direction cards from my hall too. But have to replace them for two reasons:
1: the color on the cards (beige w/ red letters)
2: and most importantly: FH says the directions are wrong!!!

i'm thinking it's just easier to make them!!
the guy at my hall is sooo hard to get a hold of... i should have asked for them months ago so i'd have them by the end of this month. i'm thinking it's prbably less stress to just do it myself

I know exaclty what you mean. I didnt like the enclosures that the hotel gave me, and Im not taking chances on the reception hall and church. I got personalized directional cards made so it matches my invites and everything is put one one handy dandy sheet. Can you just scan it and preprint it on different cardstock?

I made my own! But...I did do it on regular paper b/c every invite I ever got - the directions were just from the place on the regular piece of paper and I never thought anything bad. So, I figured, why the heck would I spend the extra $$ for directions?

Girls - we have got to draw the line somewhere!!!!
