Disappointed.

Disappointed.

I hate feeling like htis, because, to be honest- I am a very distant sort of a friend myself.
But I am really disappointed that my 'BFFs' don't seem to have any interest in the fact that I am pregnant. Not like I'm mad, but it sort of hurts.

it's kinda sorta like wedding planning.

we are more excited about major events in our lives than other people are (even our family members and close friends at times)

it ***** but it's human nature.

and, as in weddingplanning, WE are super excited for you...so who needs them!

That's totally true.
And true.

I guess I se ethis as WAY more signifigant than a wedding, you know? But I am also forced to think- how often would I be calling them?

Do they have kids yet? Maybe they just don't get it. Maybe once you have the baby, they will be more excited. I feel like there are more updates once the baby is born (walking, words, rolling over), whereas I am not sure what kind of updates one can get regarding pregnancy (minus things involving mucus)

Also, you are still relatively early in the preggoness. You need to be more preggo looking, out a sight - out a mind.

And, my guess is that your friends probably think you don't want to gush over it. Maybe you need to start gushing and they will get it.

I was the first of my friends to get pregnant. Nobody really seemed to give a flying fart. I was sad. But then I had a great baby shower and I got to be Queen of pregnancy knowledge when they all followed suit and got pregnant. So it evens out.

you are all in the know. I shalt remain blistfully ignorant. I feel certain words should never be paired together - like mucus and plug. Well really mucus and anything

I know three pregnant folks and they are all due in March.
