The photographer I wanted (Frank from Lasting Impressions in the Bronx) is booked on my date. He said he had another guy that could do our wedding, so now I don't know what to do. Can anyone recommend a photographer whose work they have seen and loved??

I booked Duet. Went with TJ! Absolutely LOVE their work. I'd also recommend Thomas Paul. Excellent photojournalistic styles.

I am booked with Mark Kauffman. He's a vendor on here. I went to see his albums at his office and I totally fell in love. He's super nice and he will work with your budget. He also guarantees 1,000 proofs! He's got great stuff, great prices, and all of his 'packages' include 2 photographers so you are bound to get great shots. He is a photojournalistic photographer. www.williamchangblog.com. We're Tom & Ali Wedding. We used him for our day after pics and everyone who's seen our photos have been calling us on the phone to tell us how wonderful they are.
We also used Velvet Studios for our day of pics and they were fantastic as well but we haven't seen proofs yet.

My photog is Alphonse Pagano.
He does more of a photo-journalist look rather than all the 'posed' pictures.
He is AMAZING!!!
