Also, before we went I had FH call to find out the prices because I didn't want to drive all the way over there without knowing. They weren't going to give prices over the phone until FH was like OK.. fine.. good bye... They worked with FH over the phone on the price, and then when we met with Tommy he threw in even more things.
I guess it depends on who you meet with. I wasn't totally blown away from the presentation, but we were able to see DVDs of them DJing and their reputation on LIW is pretty good.
It's all good... there are many other DJs out there who will do an amazing job! Good Luck!!
Ditto! Tommy is awesome, and I got to see a bunch of DVD's also. I have also been to weddings where they have DJ'd and the floor is always packed.

check out also A Starry Night. I met with Carol (the owner) and she is sooo genuinely nice and cares so much about giving u the best wedding with people dancing the whole time. the pricing is very reasonable, and she works with u on that.

Don't get discouraged!! The DJ was the hardest thing for us to book, we had such a difficult time. You will find one you love, and you'll feel so happy about that decision!!

the only reason i met with them is because my brother had them at his wedding and the dance floor was packed the whole night long.. we were very impressed. they even told my brother that it was on their top 5 weddings that they ever done.. so when we met with them.. we met with an MC that normally does not meet with people and they hooked us up beyond belief.. they didnt have to even show us anything and we booked righ there.. although I looved Li Sound and really wanted them. I couldnt walk away from them being a thousand dollars cheaper. plus gettin everything i wanted . and they threw in so much.. honestly.. dj is super important but what makes a good party is the song selection YOU CHOOSE.. if you have good music you cant go wrong.. I also like when dj's and mc's arent in your face .. they were great and im goin with them based on price and reputation.. :)you should check out LI Sound if you want to be blown away. they have a great presentation and are really great people as well.
