Disappointed and a waste of money!!!

I ordered the samples I thought I wanted from mygatsby.com - and since no bows or anything was included, I pretty much got PAPER for my sample, paper with a little gold and silver around the edges.

GRRRRrrr - nothing I would want - MAYBE with a bow it looks better - but come ON - 10.00 for 2 pieces of PAPER????

What a racket these companies have going....

you shouldnt have to pay for a sample

notwithstanding that it isnt5 even a sample of the real thing!!!!

Call them up and ***** and complain

Ive learned that in most cases- you can get your $ back

I think their philosophy is (and I sort of agree) that the fee weeds out the people who are Just curious' - if you pay, you really are serious about seeing the product. If they were free, they'd be spending so much time and postage on people just out to get free stuff, so I understand, but come on - give me a bow or something!!!!

I think I will complain - not sure what it will do though!

If you are looking for pocketfold invitations, you should really check Pippy's Sweets (a vendor on here). She is almost 60% percent less that mygatsby.com.

I hear ya girl, I still haven't received anything from them, yet they charged my credit card. Never again. What was the name of the place that you went to in Huntington?

Same thing happened to me, I paid $2 a piece and got samples of crappy blank card stock.

That's crazy, a sample should be an exact replica or at least close to it especially when you're paying for it.

Yea, I thought that was a crazy price too, so what I did was go to a invitation store to look at the envelopments. They had all the colors and samples, and we didn't have to pay anything. I haven't ordered them yet, but thats just a suggestion before ordering more samples... sorry that happened!

I am still waiting on my Gatsby sample I ordered a week ago. I am going to call tomorrow and check on my order and make sure it is not a blank sample. Thanks girls. I wish I would have saw this post before I paid for my sample

Try notfromabox.com - you have to pay for the samples, but Britta is super helpful (I emailed her with A TON of questions and she got back to me w/in 24 hours every time!) and will give you as many pocketfold colors as you want (with as many samples of backgrounds). The ribbons are included and font samples.

My experience with mygatsby was very different. My samples came complete and I even ordered my invites from them. They are beautiful. You should call them. Maybe they will send you another sample!
