FH's groomsmen planned his bachelor party for the same day as my bachelorette. FH gets a text 'our place saturday at 10 pm'. In the meantime my bachelorette is going on all day - lime to the wineries and then going out in the evening to a bar. What's more insulting is the fact that the groomsman organizing this RSVP'd to a BBQ somewhere upstate during the day on Saturday. So that means he has plans during the day and that's why FH's bach party is starting so late.
I feel so bad. He's really hurt/insulted.

i wouldnt feel bad... im sure he wont be home until the wee hours of the morning...

ETA: we both planned our own and did what we wanted to do... when you leave it up to other people theres always a chance to be disappointed...

Well I feel bad because he's feeling insulted. And his friend isn't the most punctual person. I should add that this BBQ he's attending is like 2 hours upstate. FH just feels like their squeezing in his bachelor party at the last minute.

He is, but he's not getting the best response. I discussed his bachelor with his friend over a month ago and they were planning it for this Saturday but because this BBQ popped up all of a sudden it's like something better to do. Also, he thinks his friends are being cheap and don't want to spend money on something he would like to do - play paint ball.
FH said 'once insulted, can't be un-insulted.' I just hope they do something nice for him.
