girls i really do not know what to do...FH and i had an original date for nov 06...we had booked a RH in March of 05..a VERY VERY popular hall on this site...well FH and i had to cancel the hall, b/c we had run into very hard personal issues and financially it was too much of a burden, we didnt even know if we were going to still get married...we cancelled the hall via certified mail in the very beginning of nov 05...leaving them a little over a year...our deposit was 500...with monthly payments, and deposit they have 3600 of our money...we have called them and they tell us they keep 1000 no matter what and they dont know if they will give us our money back because they have to rebook at equal or less value...now it has been 4 months since we cancelled, they still will not give us our money back, i do not know what to do but this is ridiculous..please give me advice!!!its a lot of money and i know sooo many brides are having their weddings there so i do not understand why they really need to keep my money, i gave them extremely ample time...and they arent in suffolk so i cant go through that law please help! thanks
