Disastor at the CWC today!

My sister's wedding is on FRIDAY and my BM dress wasn't going to be ready until today.
1) They don't let you make appointments to pick up a dress.... so I went today and had to wait 1 hour!
2) Put the dress on and it only zippered 1/2 of the way up!
3) They let the seams on the sides out while I waited 30 minutes!
4) Tried it on again. It zippered but I could not breathe!
5) They let the seam by the zipper out while I waited 30 minutes!
6) Finally the dress fit but they had an attitude like it was MY FAULT that they made the dress too small. When they pinned the dress, it was not that small. I don't know why they didn't sew where they pinned it!

The Commack Wedding Center is great for prices but not for alterations. I was not the only girl there with a problem. A girl just before me had her dress fixed 3 times because it was too small. A girl after me had it fitted so weird that some spots were too tight and some were so loose!
I am getting my BM dresses there because they have the best price! But I have to find somewhere else to get the alterations done!

that suck-s you had to wait so long to get it all finished...

That's terrible! I wanted to go there for all of my girls but now I don't know! They would have to buy their gown and take it to a tailor to get it altered...doesn't that make the gown more expensive? I don't want them to spend too much money...If that's the case, they might as well buy the gown online like on netbride and take it to a tailor. The gown would probably be cheaper that way???

The cap on alterations there for bridesmaids is $55. I am going to look around and try to see if I can find someone to do it in this price range.
