I just ordered BM DOJ from a Tiffany's 'discount' website - www.tiffanyOEM.com - has anyone ever heard of or used this website? They say it's authentic and 100% guaranteed. Thoughts? TIA!

never heard of them but this is what their website says:
'In this regard, we expressly disclaims any indication that it is an authorized dealer or agent of the designers whose goods are offered on this site.'

I KNOW!!!! It sounds scary, but I'll see when the necklaces come. From what I gather from the fine print, it seems like Tiffany's makes some necklaces on their own but then outsources others or orders them from other manufacturers. In any case, I'll check for the T&Co 925 stamp on the pendant and chain before I decide to keep them. It said 2-3 business days, so I'll let you know what happens! If it's the real deal, it's AWESOME!!!!! Everything was like 1/2 price! YAY!

I would suggest emailing the company asking if it is authentic Tiffany Jewelry and get a written response back from them. This will serve as an express warantee in the event you have trouble returning the items. If they tell you it is real (without all the little fine print they have on their web site) and it is not, they have to by law take it back.

I worked at T&Co for awhile. You can only buy AUTHENTIC jewerly at their stores, even be careful buying on ebay.

Oh Boy - now I'm all worried. It was a total impulse purchase - the site that was mentioned in that thread is not the same site that I used. I guess all I can do now is wait to see what arrives at my doorstep. They said it comes in the blue box, complete with all the trimmings. Oh, I'm thinking this was a complete waste of money! I hope I'm proved wrong! Thanks for looking for me!!!!

To be honest, first see how it looks when they come. If it looks like crap then send it back. You can buy T&CO jewerly in chinatown with the bluebox and all for like $10.

That happened to me -- I bid on some 'knot' cufflinks on EBAY and I was happy because I figured I was getting a good deal but then something told me to zoom in the photo they had on the listing. The supposed authentic stamp was smudged and I refused to buy it so I had the seller withdraw my bid.
However, I did recently buy some perfect Tiffany engine-turned cufflinks for $81 (original price $150) and I am positve they are authentic. The woman that sold them to me said her hubby got them as a graduation present and he didn't want them. They are the real deal.

Re: discount TIFFANY's website
thanks for this info! I'm checking my mailbox every day until they come. Wouldn't it be GREAT if it were REAL and not a scam - don't us brides-to-be have enough to worry about and spend our money on than to have to second guess ALL our purchases?!?!?! ARGHHH!!!!
