Anyone have recommendations for stores on LI that sell sample or second-hand dresses? I know of Bridal Garden and RK Bridal in NYC, but I wanted something on LI for now. I've heard of the wedding center. Is it any good? Is there anything closer to nassau county?

The wedding center in COmmack?? There was a negative posting on here the other day about that place. Do a search for it.
I have heard the Bridal Garden is good. I am getting a BM dress there for a friend's wedding. It;s a tiny place but there were really nice...worth checking out!

How much are you looking to spend on a dress? Alfred angelo has really pretty affordable dresses at uner $600, and if you purchase through netbride or RKbridal, you can get for close to $300.

I know about the online ones and yes I think they're awesome and may use one. But, I haven't actually gone into a store to try on dresses and see what looks good yet and I want to do that before I try to order online. My backup is to go into a high priced salon and just get style numbers I like and try to get them online. But, I also wanted to try a sample/second hand store--on LI. It sounds like Lillette's is good. Anyone have any more?

I agree. I am most likely getting an Alfred Angelo dress and was able to find it for only $335! Broswe through the website and note the number of the dress. Then go to a salon and try it on.

I know Bridal Suite of Centereach Bridal Suite of Patchogue & Adriennes in Islip does... They all offered to me..
