Extra magic hours are the extra hours that the park is open, I think it might be for Disney property guests. I have usually stayed on Disney property and you just go early or stay late, depending on when the hours are.
What do you need to know?

But I don't understand how you get a 'wristband' for the evening hours. lol
I'm staying at the Polynesian again so i know i'll be able to take advantage of it. I'm just confused on how to go about doing it. And i don't want to wait to ask.. i'm so anxious.. lol

We have gone to Disney 3 times in the past 3 years and I never needed a wristband unless it was a special event, like the Pirates and Princess Party. (Yes we went to it. Just us, no kids. )
Does it say somewhere that you need a wristband?

I never had to do anything special for them. I don't think they do the blacklight thing anymore, you just keep your ticket.
I am sorry, I wish I could help. I have never had to do anything to stay for the extra magic hours.

I went last summer with FH...We stayed in Disney and there are locations in the parks where you give them your hotel info and they give you the wristband so you can stay later...Ask anyone who works the park they will tell you where the spot is you can get your wristband..I hope i helped..

oh yea and does that mean the park regular hours are til 11 then stays open til 1am w/ the magic hours?
when we went in 03' we never did the magic hours! lol and before that i went when i was like 9! lol

i had not been to disney for more than 10 years since i went with him so it was new to me. Everynight a different park is open until 1 am..They also have that speed pass thing which is good if you can run around the park to be at a ride at a designated time, fh and i were pissed off because we were sweating our behinds off in the hot weather while they let a bunch of people through on the speed pass that got on the ride first...if you u are going in the summer i recomend it!

That is what FH and I are doing for our honeymoon. We are going to disneyworld and on the cruise. I am so excited. We got engaged in Disney. It is my fav. place. It was FH first time also. He had never gone before.
