You're gonna LOVE it! I love going to Disney!! With 5 days, you'll have plenty of time to see everything. Animal Kingdom is my fave park though!

Re: DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you're staying at a Disney resort, definitely take advantage of the fact that they open the park an hour early for Disney hotel people...and use that hour to go on the more popular rides...this way you have that done with before the masses swarm in!
If you're into it, do a character breakfast/brunch. It's a little corny but who the eff cares, it's Disney and everyone is a kid once they enter the park!
Don't rush. You've got a few days. I used to hate Disney because I went there so much. Then I didn't go for about ten years and my sister and I went a couple years back and we took it all in and were like...WOOOOOOOW. It's really something else!
Wear comfy shoes. I know that's kinda 'duhhh', LOL.
I'm sure others have more specific advice, because we have a few big Disney fans on the boards...maybe cross-post this in BHB if you haven't already.

Re: DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DEFINITELY do all the classics...Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain Railroad (they like mountains haha), Tower of Terror, the big golf ball in Epcot (I don't remember the name...it might seem kind of lame but its always my first stop there, love it!!!).
Something fun to do in Epcot is to go to their section where its all different countries...and have a beer in every country. That's only if you plan on not being able to walk after a while though AT LEAST have a beer in Germany...if I recall correctly they have the cutest little German pub. And eat in Morocco!!! mmmmm sooooo good!!!
I have the worst memory, but one amazing thing I did with an ex when we went was went to eat at a restaurant at the top of The Contemporary (I believe...I might not be remembering correctly). If you time it right, they have an observation platform where you can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks...or if you get a table by the window you can watch them while you eat your meal. Very romantic and the food was yummy too!!!

yep!! the golf ball is spaceship earth. and the restaurant on the 15th floor of the contemporary is the california grille and the firework display from there is unbelievable.
try to eat at victoria and albert's at the grand floridian. it is expensive but beautiful, classy, and amazing food and service. very romantic and they give every lady a rose upon leaving.
i've been to disney almost 20 times so please FM me for ideas. oh and from the contemporary you can go parasailing - you HAVE to do a double with FH. it is an awesome experience. have a wonderful time!!!

Re: DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obviously you need to check out all the parks - Epcot, MGM, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom.
Universal Studios is also great, but it's not a Disney park so I don't know if you plan to branch out or not.
You MUST eat at the Polynesian resort - their restaurant and food is to die for!
ETA: for a 'real' Disney experience - try getting a reservation for one of those Breakfast with the characters things.......cheesy and for children, but it's so much fun!

I'm so jealous!!! I would have loved to do Disney for part of the honeymoon but FH was SO not into it LOL! I want to definitely go there before we have kids! I haven't been there in over 15 years so I can't really make any recommendations but I can't wait to go back! Have a great time, Disney is soooo awesome!
