....Started to think about possibly going to Disney for a honeymoon on the cheaper side....what do you guys think?

I did Disney for the 2nd half of my honeymoon. It was awesome. We stayed at Pop century to save money since we knew we wouldn't be in the room that much. We took advantage of the buses between parks and the free airport shuttle. We also did the dining plan which we loved.

Def buy the mickey and minnnie bride and groom ears. People love it and congratulate you non stop and sometimes give you free stuff! (We got a free cupcake, free champagne at dinner, and a free pic at splash mountain!)

We are very serious about a Disneymoon- just waiting for FH to find out his work schedule so we can book. Our plan is to upgrade to a moderate resort, so it feels a little bit more special than the last time we went and stayed at a value. We will also be making it more 'honeymoon'-esque by slowing down a bit-- not running to every line, though I will have the most trouble with this lol.

As a honeymooner on a budget, I recommend the dining plan, we have found it to be very useful, but of course everything depends on your personal preferences. Same goes for the hotel, I swear by staying on property bc of the add ons they give you (free transportation to/from airport, to/from parks, extra magic hours, access to dining plan, etc.). Some girls on here will swear by staying nearby and off property..all valid options, just figure it out according to your needs.

FH and I will also most likely add a cruise on (not the disney cruise). They are ridiculously cheap out of orlando, so we want to do that after to get in the relaxing, tropical vibe as well.
