Disney Girls!

Can you please recommend great places for lunch in Magic Kingdom, and good places for dinner in Downtown Disney?

Also, has anyone been to the Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios?

I'm trying to make a list up of the restaurants we want to make reservations at, so when I can call I will be all set! Thanks!!

Hey! The Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios is very good. It's one of Disney's 'signature' restaurants, which means it's fine dining.

Personally, my favorite place to eat lunch at MK isn't a table service restaurant, rather Columbia Harbor House (on your way out of Fantasyland). They have the best tuna sandwich ever! They also have great fish n chips. A lot of people like Crystal Palace buffet, or Tony's on Main Street (Italian food, they have the Lady and the Tramp statue). I personally thought Tony's wasn't good at all.

If you're looking for a really special place to have a romantic and AMAZING dinner, definitely do California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort. It's absolutely amazing, and you can watch the MK fireworks like no other place ever, since you're basically on top of the MK. It is expensive though, but worth every penny. Another fun place in Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM) is the 50s Prime Time Cafe, and the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater. You should probably FM me, cuz I could go on for hours. I've eaten at a million Disney restaurants and am possibly the hugest Disney nerd on the face of planet Earth haha.

I loved Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney...I had the ribs and they were FABULOUS!!! also the Earl of Sandwich for lunch if you have time in DTD it's not table service but the tomato soup is AMAZING! Also for lunch I would probably say the Pinocchio Village Haus in MK in Fantasyland. It's not a table service meal but it's a good one. Also I would try Cinderella's Royal Tabel...I haven't eaten there but I've heard good reviews... also try mousesavers.com or allearsnet.com. You can read the reviews and forums about restaurants and theme parks and what not. HTH

I totally agree with all her recommendations. I am also a HUGE disney fan love it ... and i have now got FH hooked. We've been there last summer and this summer together.

Hollywood Brown Derby was phenomenal and California Grill is amazing and romantic. Tony's town square ******, I agree with you. If you can get into lunch at cinderella's royal table it's really good. And they do pre-priced menus and you get to take pics with cinderella all included.

My recommendation for Downtown Disney is Wolfgang Puck's Cafe ... this year was our first time there and we absolutely loved everything .. there are so many things to pick from and everything was delicious

I have to be honest 50's prime time cafe was such a let down this year ... its a cute, fun place to eat but the food was not good this year

Anywhere in the countries in Epcot is good, Teppan Edo in Japan was the habachi (spelling?) style where they cook in front of you and the food was amazing .. FM me for anything else ... love disney and love talking about it
